PFSains Held, ITPLN Students Eager to Participate

Jakarta, April 30, 2024 – PT Pertamina, through Pertamina Foundation, has conducted a socialization session for the PFSains competition at Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) campus. The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Pawenary, IPU., ASEAN Eng., Vice Rector IV of ITPLN, and the PFSains Project Head, Ermawan Fitra, along with their team.
PFSains is a scientific research competition organized by PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Foundation, focusing on research results or technological development practices in the field of energy.
In his speech, Dr. Pawenary said, “ITPLN, as a campus focused on energy, will participate in this competition, and for the winning students, they will receive the privilege of being exempted from their final projects or theses.”
Fitra mentioned, “The PFMuda program can be joined by younger siblings of the Institut Teknologi PLN who have innovations, and for lecturers, they can also participate in this science competition.”

This competition can be participated in either as a group or individually, allowing individuals to join both group and individual categories, but they are not allowed to be the leader of the group if they participate individually.
The innovators in PFSains will directly channel their technological innovations for replication and duplication. The winners will receive total funding from this competition, amounting to 2.5 billion or 250 million rupiah per project in the implementation category.
ITPLN students responded positively to this socialization event, enthusiastically participating in the presentations and asking questions about the competition details. They welcomed the opportunity to develop their skills in the field of science and energy technology through the competition organized by Pertamina Foundation.
