Jakarta, November 30, 2021 – Universitas Satya Negara Indonesia (USNI) conducted a comparative study at Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. This visit discussed the offline and online hybrid lectures that had been carried out by ITPLN.
The visit started at 08.30 wib (West-Indonesia-Time-zone) at Sedyatmo Room. The event took place with strict health protocols in accordance with the Government’s recommendations during this New Normal period. After a visit from the Region III Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) related to a review of ITPLN readiness in implementing PTM, ITPLN received permission to implement class meetings on November 8, 2021.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa M K, MT as the Rector of ITPLN, Mr. Luqman, ST., M.Kom as Vice Rector I, Mr. Drs. Moh. Ahsan, MM as Vice Rector II, Mrs. Erlina, ST., MT as Vice Rector III, Mr. Dr. Ir. Soetjipto Soewono, Dipl. GE as Vice Rector IV, along with Managers and Deans from each faculty in ITPLN. From USNI, the party was represented by Mrs. Dra. Merry L. Panjaitan, MM., MBA as USNI Rector, Dr. Ir. Dwi Ernaningsih, M.Si as USNI Vice Rector I, Mr. Berlin Sitorus, S.Kom., M.Kom as USNI Vice Rector II, and their staff.
In his speech, the Rector ITPLN, Prof. Iwa invited the participants to be able to work together for the common good, “Let’s work together and discuss solutions in the world of education, to be free from the pandemic.” said Prof. Iwa.
Meanwhile, the USNI Rector expressed his appreciation to ITPLN who had received a visit from USNI, “Thank you to ITPLN for giving us (USNI) the opportunity during this visit to discuss the preparations and limited face-to- face class meeting at ITPLN,” said Mrs. Dra. Merry.
After listening to the presentation and discussion in the Sedyatmo Room, the event continued with some visitations to several ITPLN laboratories, classrooms, and seminar rooms. The visit ended with hospitality act in the lecturer cafeteria, and a group photo in the ITPLN lobby.
Hopefully, the pandemic will end quickly, so that lectures can take place as before the pandemic.
