ITPLN STUDENTS PASSED INDEPENDENT CAMPUS (KAMPUS MERDEKA) INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT PT INDONESIA POWER

On Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 13.30 WIB, the Opening of the PT Indonesia Power Campus Program was held through the Zoom Meeting application. This event was initiated by PT Indonesia Power in the context of implementing the Merdeka Learning Program for the Independent Campus (MKBM), one of which is an industrial internship program. MKBM was initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and PT Indonesia Power, which is one of the Industrial Partners, accepts MBKM participants from all over Indonesia, with the title of the Internship Program being “Operation & Maintenance Development Program“.

 

The event began with a Remark and Presentation of Students from the Rector of the PLN Institute of Technology Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa MK., MT as the Representative of the Leaders from all Universities. In his speech, Prof. Iwa advised all students to be able to carry out internship activities at PT Indonesia Power as well as possible and take knowledge as a provision for the world of work later. The event continued with remarks, directions, accepting students, and opening the Independent Campus Internship Program by the HR Director of PT Indonesia Power, Mr. Bagus Setiawan. On that occasion, he said that PT Indonesia Power is committed to providing outstanding work experience for students in developing competence (knowledge and skills) and national standard competency certification (DJK ESDM). Then, the event continued with remarks from representatives of the GM Unit PT Indonesia Power Mr. Nurkukuh Bayuajie and Mr. Nanang Kurniawan and ended with remarks from student representatives.

 

The registrants in the PT Indonesia Power Independent Campus Internship Program totaled 1155 participants from all universities in Indonesia, then the participants followed the administrative selection stages, basic technical knowledge, and psychodiagnostics. The results obtained were 46 students, one of 46 students selected is a student of the Institut Teknologi PLN on behalf of Al Fatih Akbar Damarjati, NIM 201912011, Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Energy Technology and Business, with the position of BOP Mechanical Technician and Workshop Unit placement of PLTU Pelabuhan Ratu OMU, Sukabumi, West Java.
