The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN), has the main task and function (Tupoksi) of conducting quality assurance for the implementation of research and community service (PPM) activities that have been carried out by ITPLN lecturers/researchers. The culture of researching in the ITPLN environment has increased very high, so that ITPLN has a good ability to carry out quality research activities.
With the aim of improving quality by making continuous improvement efforts, after the process of implementing research and reporting, it is necessary to carry out a process of evaluating and disseminating the results of research and community service in the form of a National Seminar on the results of research and community service at ITPLN.
In view of the above, LPPM ITPLN set the theme of the National Seminar: Utilization of the Momentum of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 to accelerate national energy independence.
The implementation of the 2020 National Seminar on Electrical Energy, Engineering, and Informatics (SNEKTI) is an event in facing the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) in the field of Energy and Electricity to realize independence in National Energy. The momentum of processes and activities globally has been realized by academics and researchers in Indonesia, especially the development of applications through design and research that has been widely carried out in the context of energy and electricity fields as well as techniques related to information technology.
This condition begins to form a system that gives rise to seamless connectivity and interaction between humans, machines, and other resources to create maximum efficiency and optimization. This also affects the energy and electricity industry sector which is also undergoing a transformation towards electricity 4.0. SNEKTI 2020 will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at the Institut Teknologi PLN campus, through this seminar will be presented by speakers and practitioners who have competence in the theme raised.
