Institut Teknologi PLN has established a strategic partnership with PT KISS Japan Indonesia.

Jakarta, March 7, 2024 – Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) has forged a strategic partnership with PT KISS Japan Indonesia in an effort to facilitate career opportunities for ITPLN graduates as well as internship programs. This collaboration aims to open doors for ITPLN graduates interested in working in Japan.

During a meeting held at the ITPLN campus, Dr. Rahmawati Hidayah, ST, M.Des CEO of PT KISS Japan Indonesia, Koki Takahashi, and Kevin Abe from GlobalDeel.inc were welcomed by ITPLN Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa M K., MT along with Vice Rectors and the Head of the Rectorate Bureau.

The signing of the MoU on Tridharma of higher education and the Cooperation Agreement (regarding work/internship and study in Japan) reaffirmed both parties’ commitment to supporting the recruitment and placement of graduates and internship programs for ITPLN students in Japanese companies.

Dr. Rahmawati stated, “We are very excited to collaborate with ITPLN to recruit qualified graduates to join companies in Japan. We believe that ITPLN graduates have the skills and expertise that align with the needs of the engineering industry in Japan.”

Prof. Iwa welcomed this collaboration as a positive step in supporting the career development of students and ITPLN graduates. “This collaboration provides valuable opportunities for ITPLN graduates to gain international work experience in Japan, and it is a tangible step towards expanding their professional network,” she said.
