Institut Teknologi PLN and Yayasan Baitul Maal PLN Sharing With Residents Around The Campus Ahead of Eid Al-Fitr

Jakarta, April 2, 2024 – In the spirit of Ramadan, the PLN Institute of Technology (ITPLN) organized a Sharing Eid Gift event for staff, academia, and residents around the ITPLN campus. The event took place at the ITPLN campus in Duri Kosambi, Jakarta Barat. A total of 370 packages of basic necessities and envelopes containing cash were distributed during the event.

The event was attended by the Executive Vice President of PLN Distribution Operations for Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua, and East Nusa Tenggara, Rudi Purnomoloka, and representatives from the PLN Baitul Maal Foundation (YBM PLN), ITPLN Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa M K, MT, Vice Rectors, Management, academia, and residents around the ITPLN campus.

In his speech, Rudi Purnomoloka said, “In every income, there is sustenance for others. This year, PT PLN through YBM PLN has allocated funds amounting to 18 billion Rupiah to provide donations and gifts for those in need.”

Prof. Iwa said, “Thank you to YBM for facilitating this event. We are neighbors, we live side by side, and it would be good if we could share with each other, especially since many of our students live and engage in activities in your neighborhoods. This is a manifestation of living peacefully side by side. We entrust our children to you and please do advise them if they do anything inappropriate and report it to us,” he concluded.
