Institut Teknologi PLN Holds Training K3 and 5S for PT Adhi Guna Putera

Jakarta, March 25, 2024 – Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) held training on Occupational Health and Safety (K3) and Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke (5S) for PT Adhi Guna Putera, taking place at the Padang Education and Training Unit (UPDL) from March 25th to 27th, 2024. The speaker for this event was Nahar Setiawan (Centre of Excellent Consultant), who has over 20 years of experience in the field.

ITPLN, through its Training Center, organized this activity to equip PT Adhi Guna Putera employees with knowledge of K3 and 5S. Present at the event were PT Adhi Guna Putera’s President Director Denny Pranoto, PT Adhi Guna Putera’s Finance Director Toharudin, along with their team, PLN UPDL Padang Manager Sunandar Usman, ITPLN’s Vice Rector IV Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pawenary, IPU, ASEAN Eng., Training Center Director Ir. Suharto, MT, and Training Center staff.

In his remarks, Dr. Pawenary emphasized, “In our work, we must be careful and avoid the possibility of workplace accidents because if accidents happen, you may be terminated, or worse, lose your life, for the tools and the people around you. Expensive equipment must be replaced, and much more. This is fundamental for everyone working at PLN.”

Denny Pranoto echoed similar sentiments, stating, “We must maintain the quality of our work so that clients will feel satisfied with the service we provide and to prevent accidents. We must enhance our skills in K3 and 5S.”

Sunandar added, “This is one of our commitments to ITPLN that we will collaborate because all ITPLN training activities involve many experienced practitioner lecturers.”

The event took place offline at UPDL Padang and online via Zoom Meeting. Participants came from various regions across Indonesia.
