PT Cogindo Daya Bersama Welcomes The Visit Of Institut Teknologi PLN

Jakarta – Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) paid a visit to PT Cogindo Daya Bersama on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between the academic and industrial sectors.

In attendance from IT PLN were key representatives, including Vice Rector IV, Dr. Pawenary, Director of Lemtera, Dr. Ery Prabowo, and Cooperation Manager, Dwi Listiawati. They were warmly welcomed by the CEO of Cogindo, Hari Cahyono, accompanied by Imam, Director of Legal and Human Capital at Cogindo.

Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and Business, Pawenary, stated, “The collaboration covers the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education, Research, and Community Service.” In terms of education and teaching, ITPLN is willing to provide education and training to the Cogindo team, and vice versa, Cogindo employees are ready to become Practitioner Lecturers. This is because ITPLN has a 4-4-2 learning system, with 40% theory, 40% problem solving, and 20% industrial lectures, therefore practitioner lecturers are present to train students in problem solving.

Furthermore, several agreements were reached, including Cogindo’s support for research and studies conducted by ITPLN, ITPLN will manage the liquid waste used by PLTD and provide training, coaching, and technical guidance needed by Cogindo.

Cogindo will support the establishment of research and innovation centers at ITPLN including the development of other facilities. Meanwhile, for Research, ITPLN is ready to collaborate with Cogindo to conduct several studies from existing studies, while Community Service will be carried out through joint visits to areas within Cogindo’s reach involving lecturers and students on field trips.

Hari Cahyono stated, “Cogindo welcomes this visit and hopes to conduct a return visit to the ITPLN campus soon, including observing several research centers there.” He also mentioned that in the recruitment process, graduates of D3 in Electrical or Mechanical fields from ITPLN alumni will be placed in all Cogindo units across Indonesia. Considering that ITPLN is a campus renowned for providing and creating superior human resources in the energy sector.

The meeting concluded with a commitment from both parties to continue collaborating in various fields.
