ITPLN AND PLN PUSERTIF VISIT TO GELIS FACTORY

Bogor, 8 December 2021 – Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) together with the PLN Certification Center (Pusertif) paid a visit to the workshop of one of the electric vehicles, namely GELIS (Electric Cart) which is produced directly by PT. Indonesian Solar Panels. This visit activity takes place from 10:00 to 14:00 WIB (Wednesday/8/12)

In this visit, ITPLN was represented by Mr. Hendri, ST., MT as the Head of the ITPLN Research and Assessment Center for Electric Vehicles (P3KL). Meanwhile, PLN Pusertif was represented by Mr. Ir. Septa Hamid, M.Si as the General Manager of PLN Pusertif, Mr. Haryo Lukito, Mr. Rendy Yuliandhika, Mr. Iwan Soelistijono, and Mr. Wisnu Adi. GELIS is represented by Mr. Prasetyo Budi as Director of PT. Indonesian Solar Panels.

This visit was carried out as a follow-up to the ITPLN meeting with GELIS at the IEMS 2021 event booth as participants who took part in the exhibition event. This visit is also a benchmarking activity and to see the electric vehicle ecosystem, especially in three-wheeled electric vehicles in Indonesia.

During his visit, Mr. Septa said that we see at this time, electric vehicles have a pretty good opportunity because many vehicles will be used in the field as transport vehicles, especially 3 wheelers. electric- fuelled 3-wheel which will later be used in our office for daily needs, of course also in support of CSR programs in environmental sustainability,” said Mr. Septa.

After the discussion session, a visit was made around the battery assembly area to vehicle components and ended with a group photo.
