ITPLN VISITED TELKOM UNIVERSITY BANDUNG

In the context of friendship and imitation studies, the Rectorate Team of the Institut Teknologi PLN made a visit and imitation study to Telkom University (Tel-U), Bandung. Telkom University as one of the private universities under the same auspices of the BUMN Higher Education Alliance (APERTI BUMN) with ITPLN has a reputation and quite rapid development both in the academic field and branding image throughout Indonesia. The event is divided into 2 (two) sessions, namely on Thursday, November 4, 2021, and Friday, November 5, 2021, at 09.00 WIB.

On the first day’s visit, the discussion focused on PR and Analytics activities at Telkom University. The event was attended by Dr. Ade Romadhony as Head of Public Relations and Analytics, Mrs. Nurul Fitria, S.T., M.M as Head of the Leadership and Legal Secretariat, Mr. Daris Rohmansyah Maulana, S.Sos as Head of Public Relations and Mr. Donni Richasdy, S.T., M.T as Head of Affairs. The team from the ITPLN Rectorate was led by the Head of the Rectorate, Mrs. Susani S.Psi, the Head of the Public Relations Section, Mrs. Yozika Arvio ST., M.Kom along with the secretary of the leadership and public relations staff. The purpose of this activity is to increase the role of ITPLN’s public relations, to find out more about the job description of the public relations department, protocol for activities or events, social media management, campus image improvement programs and external media collaboration on the Telkom University Campus.

Then on the second day is for discussions and campus tours which were attended by the Rector of ITPLN Prof. Dr. Iwa Garniwa M K, MT, Vice Rector II Drs. Moh. Ahsan, MM, Head of ITPLN Rectorate Mrs. Susani, S.Psi, and their staff, meanwhile from Tel-U, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, Vice Rector for Human Resources Mr. Andijoko Tjahjono, ST, Head of Public Relations and Analytics, Dr. Ade Romadhony, Head of Secretariat for Leadership and Legal Ms. Nurul Fitria, S.T., M.M, and her staff.

In his speech, Prof. Iwa expressed his gratitude to Telkom University for accepting the imitated study participants from ITPLN. Meanwhile, the Rector of Tel-U Prof. Adi conveyed matters related to the implementation of existing programs at Tel-U, so that it can have the reputation as it is today. Prof. Adi also added that to improve the branding image of the campus is not only the duty of PR, but the duty of the entire academic community to work together to build the image of the campus so that it is well known in the wider community.

After the discussion was held at Tel-U Café Tokong Nanas Building, the event continued with a tour of the Telkom University campus environment using a shuttle car. The visit included the faculties in Tel- U, learning support facilities, and the Tel-U Student Dormitory.
