THE REALIZATION TRI DHARMA OF ITPLN AND STIE YASA ANGGANA

GARUT, November 10, 2021 – The Rector of Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ITPLN and the STIE Yasa Anggana Garut regarding the Implementation of Higher Education Tri Dharma Activities, Competency Certification, and Improvement of Human Resources, Wednesday (10/11).

This event was attended by the Rector of ITPLN Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa, MT, Vice Rectors, Head of Rectorate, Manager of Cooperation Section, Head of Marketing and Admissions Section, Head of ITCC ITPLN and several ITPLN lecturers and staff. Meanwhile, STIE Yasa Anggana was represented by the Chairperson of STIE, Dr. Tita Rachtawati, Vice Chairs, Head of LPPM, as well as several lecturers and staff of STIE Yasa Anggana.

Dr. Tita Rachtawati as Chairperson of STIE Yasa Anggana expressed her gratitude to Prof. Iwa Garniwa, and his staff who have been pleased to attend and collaborate with STIE Yasa Anggana Campus. In addition, it was also explained that STIE Yasa Anggana is a private university in Garut with “B” accreditation and has 2 study programs, namely S1 and Diploma III study programs. “Currently STIE has around 1950 active students,” she said. It was also explained that STIE Yasa Anggana has 2 campus locations, namely on Jalan Otista as campus I and campus II which is located on Jalan Pembangunan, Tarogong, Garut City. STIE Yasa Anggana is ready to implement every point contained in the MoU with ITPLN.

Furthermore, the remarks from Prof. Iwa Garniwa who explained that this collaboration is expected to bring benefits to both parties as an example of collaboration in technology research from ITPLN and management and entrepreneurship from STIE Yasa Anggana, which is believed if implemented can create products that have value for society and industry. Prof. Iwa Garniwa hopes to implement Microsoft and English certification for lecturers and students of STIE Yasa Anggana.

On the sidelines of the discussion, the Director of LPPM STIE Yasa Anggana hoped to implement collaborative research activities and community service between STIE and ITPLN because there was a lot of potential that could be raised for scientific work from the Garut district. And in the discussion, Deputy Chair I for Academic Affairs of STIE Yasa Anggana said that an international- scale competency certification has been planned in the academic strategic plan which is being prepared and is ready to collaborate with ITPLN. After the discussion, the event was closed with a group photo session and hospitality.
