PLN’S COMMITMENT AND PROGRAMS FOR ITPLN DEVELOPMENT

Institut Teknologi PLN which is under the auspices of the Education and Welfare Foundation of PT PLN (Persero) is one of the pillars of PT PLN (Persero) together with the PLN Workers Union, IK PLN, and the PLN Pension Fund. In the Town Hall Meeting held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the PLN Head Office Hall, PLN President Director Mr. Darmawan Prasodjo conveyed PLN’s commitment to give awards, support, and collaborate with ITPLN towards the “A” accreditation and becoming the best campus in the national electricity sector.

In his speech, the President Director of PLN said that ITPLN is an important pillar for PLN, ITPLN was also born from the Womb of PLN, ITPLN (also) carries PLN’s big name, “Institut Teknologi PLN Should Be Glorious.” Mr. Darmawan said.

The forms of programs provided by PLN for the development of ITPLN include:

• Scholarship Program from PLN and Baitul Mal PLN Foundation, for ITPLN students
• ITPLN Student Internship Program, in all units of PLN Group
• ITPLN Best Graduate Recruitment Program, to work at PLN Group
• And there are still many programs launched by PLN to support the development of ITPLN.

Of course, this is good news for ITPLN, after transforming in 2020 from the previous ‘School for Higher Education’ status. Currently, ITPLN already has 12 study programs to answer global challenges by preparing skilled workers from various fields. Let us make all Programs from PLN succeed, continue to work and innovate for the glory of ITPLN & the progress of the Indonesian Nation.
